Hello
As a dedicated professional in the field of mental health, I specialize in providing support to adults aged 25 and above. My therapeutic expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including anxiety, depression, and addiction. Additionally, I have a deep understanding of and experience in assisting individuals grappling with issues related to aging, grief and loss, relationship challenges, LGBTQ-related concerns, as well as the sensitive topic of sexual abuse. Today I am focusing my full attention to working with couples using my new book Making Love Last as the framework for doing treatment
In February 2024 my husband and I will have celebrated our 50th anniversary. So I have a unique perspective on the issues gay male relationships have to confront. Brene Brown defines authenticity as “ the daily practice of letting go of who you think you are supposed to be and embracing who you are”. Years of shame-based living often cover up our true authentic selves. I am passionate about helping gay men discover their authentic selves and live healthier, happier lives.
My approach to therapy is best described as "eclectic" and person-centered. I place a strong emphasis on collaborating with my clients to help them define their unique therapy goals and to determine the most effective strategies for achieving these objectives. I am well-equipped to provide both short-term therapy solutions, typically within the range of 12 to 24 sessions, as well as longer-term support, depending on the individual's needs and preferences.

As a spiritual psychologist, I am deeply committed to the transformative power of the human spirit and the exploration of one's inner world. In my journey as a practitioner, I have discovered that the realms of psychology and spirituality intertwine in profound ways, offering a unique perspective on personal growth and well-being. In this fusion of spirituality and psychology, I help my clients achieve the goal of living an authentic life by unlocking their potential within their own body, heart and mind.
